Newsight Imaging Continues to Expand Global Presence with New Sales Channels in Asia Pacific
Ness Ziona, Israel —January 22, 2019 – Newsight Imaging, an Israeli startup that develops CMOS image sensor chips for machine vision, geared to the robotics, automotive, Industry 4.0 and mobile devices markets, today announced that it has expanded its presence in the Asia Pacific region by signing up a distribution agreement with Avnet Asia Pacific, a global technology solutions company that provides a comprehensive ecosystem of design capabilities and supply chain services.
The agreement will provide local sales and technical support to 13 countries in the Asia Pacific region including: Australia, Greater China, India, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam, and will enable Newsight Imaging to leverage their strong presence in the Asia Market. This partnership will accelerate Newsight’s presence in Asia, by addressing current and growing customer demands for accurate, reliable and affordable 3D solutions for machine vision.
